Get to know Town and Country Animal Clinic!
We’re happy to introduce ourselves and share a little bit about our history, our philosophy and our staff.
Our History
Town and Country Animal Clinic was opened by Dr. Ross Miller and his wife, Elaine, at this location in 1968. The practice was originally a mixed large and small animal facility just north of town, outside any city development.
The original building was enlarged and expanded in 1972, then remodeled again in 2004. Dr. Miller had a variety of associate veterinarians over the years, including Dr. Ann Weston, who joined, and purchased, the practice in 1996. Dr. Weston is a graduate of OSU’s and WSU’s Veterinary Colleges. Dr. Miller and Elaine remained on staff until 1997.
Dr. Weston has had a number of associate veterinarians over the years, including Dr. Tracy Castor, who started out here as a technician for over 10 years and returned as a veterinarian later. He remains on our staff. Dr. Tim Hazzard has also been an associate at various times since completing a veterinary preceptorship here as a senior student at OSU Veterinary College in 2008.
Dr. Weston continues to operate the clinic as a predominately small animal practice, incorporating care for equine and exotic patients.
Our Philosophy
At Town and Country Animal Clinic, we take pride in delivering personalized, compassionate care to our patients and their guardians. Our team strives to provide a comfortable environment for our patients and clients and we want everyone, either two legged or four, to feel welcome as soon as they enter our veterinary clinic. Our motto is to treat every client as though they were family, and every pet as if they were our own.
