GREAT NEWS!
We have gone back to normal operating hours! (Yay!)
Monday – Friday: 8:00am – 6:00pm (7:30-8am is for surgery drop offs ONLY; phones will NOT turn over until 8am)
Saturday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
Sunday: CLOSED
However, please remember we are still in a pandemic so if you need to come in for an appointment or to pick up medications/food, we are asking that ALL clients call us from the parking lot FIRST before coming in. Either the receptionist or technician will instruct you when it is okay to come in. Please do not just walk in without calling first!
NOTE: When coming into the clinic to see us (for any reason) please do not approach the counter unless instructed to, in order to practice safe social distancing. This will help limit any and all possible exposure to both you and our staff.
A FACE MASK MUST BE WORN PROPERLY AT ALL TIMES WHILE INSIDE THE CLINIC. PEOPLE NOT WEARING A MASK OR WHO TAKE THEM OFF WHILE INSIDE WILL BE ASKED TO WAIT IN THEIR CAR.
If you would like to schedule an exam or pick up any food or prescriptions, we have two options, depending on your personal preference:
- Curbside Service – We will go out to your car and escort your pet(s) inside for any exams or procedures, collect payment for service or products, and/or bring any food/prescriptions out to you while you wait in your car. All communication prior to and during any appointments will be done over the phone, and a technician can go over any and all medications and instructions when we bring your pet(s) back to you and for signatures on credit card transactions.
- In-Clinic Service – You may opt to continue to come into your appointments or pick up your food and prescriptions, as usual, but we ask that you still call us when you arrive and we will instruct you to come in when we have everything ready. Our technicians will still come into the exam rooms and take history as we’ve always done, but clients are to remain in the exam room until a staff member instructs otherwise. We are trying to eliminate client-to-client interactions inside the clinic, and minimize direct interactions with staff. Please know our staff will all be wearing face masks for yours and our protection, in the event you would like to come inside the building. Again, we expect all clients who opt to come inside to properly wear their face masks, and to keep them on until exiting the building. People unable to wear a face mask, for any reason, will unfortunately be asked to wait in their car while we conduct the appointment.
**PLEASE DO NOT COME IN FOR ANY APPOINTMENTS OR TO PICK UP FOOD OR PRESCIRPTIONS IF YOU ARE FEELING ILL OR SOMEONE IN YOUR HOUSEHOLD IS ILL. We are happy to reschedule any appointments for your pets for when you are feeling better and off the quarantining protocol for exposed individuals, as recommended by the Oregon Health Authority. We can also mail medications, if needed, but there will be an additional shipping cost. You can also order your prescriptions through our online pharmacy, and they will be shipped directly to you. Our staff is working double time to see and treat your pets and also cleaning and sanitizing the clinic throughout the day, to help make sure you and your pets stay as safe and healthy as we can.
Thank you for your continued understanding and cooperation while we continue to move forward during these strange times. As always, if you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Take Care and Be Safe,
Town and Country Animal Clinic Staff
